It is with great sadness that the Old Catholic Church of North
America announces the death of our Presiding Bishop, the
Rt. Rev. Paul Hugh Combs, Jr.
Bishop Combs received his eternal reward late in the
evening, December 4, 2008 following a brief illness. A
funeral mass was held at the Cathedral of Jesus Nazareth in
Tampa, Florida on Monday, December 8, and he was buried
with full military honors at the National Cemetery in Bushnell,
Florida on Tuesday, December 9.
Bishop Combs great love for the church will not soon be
forgotten.
